Nextlink just announced the Invisio G5, claimed to be the world’s smallest Bluetooth headset. The Nextlink Invisio G5 weighs just 6g and measures only 3.3cm long and 1.6cm wide. It fits over the ear with what Nextlink calls a Soft Spring design, which means it will adapt to the contours of your ear. Somehow a three button interface is also packed into the tiny frame.
The headset is charged by mini USB and users will get up to four hours’ talk time. The G5 will sit in standby mode for at least 30 days. The company said the G5 will actually offer a talk time of up to 4 hours (expendable to 20 hours with the included protective charging case) and up to 150 hours standby time.
The headset is compatible with Bluetooth 1.2 and 2.0, and looks to be available only in Europe for now, costing the equivalent of $165.
