If you have been researching the Motorola MOTOROKR S9 headphones, the Motorola S9-HD will be your next home work. At the CES 2008 show, Motorola announced the Motorola S9-HD, an update to the very well known Motorola S9 stereo Bluetooth headphones. This new version adds 3D surround sound and high-definition audio – compliments of SRS WOW HD technology. The ear buds on the S9-HD have also been redesigned to reduce background noise and maximize comfort.

The Motorola S9-HD is compatible Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones and MP3 players. If you are an iPod user, however, you’d have to get Motorola D650 Bluetooth adaptor for synchronization.

The Motorola S9-HD stereo Bluetooth headset weighs only 32g (1oz). With up to 6 hours of music playback and dedicated music playback controls, the Motorola S9-HD looks to be quite promising. The S9-HD should be available in Q2 2008, though pricing is not currently available.

The stereo Bluetooth headsets are becoming more and more popular than ever, that’s why we can find a few new devices every week, as we found the JayBird Stereo Bluetoth earbuds. The JayBird JB-100 headset is a compact stereo earbud set, that can be used with Bluetooth ready devices or with adapters for the iPod and other audio devices, that are sold separately. The JB-100 falls comfortably between two close competitors: the Etymotic Ety8 and the Plantronics Voyager 855. This headset has its downsides, but if you can get a comfortable fit, it’s a worthwhile consideration.

Very interesting idea from Jabra. Trying to catch the new generation of iPod lover’s, the Jabra BT325 is a pair of ordinary earphones but with an integrated Bluetooth headset. This means that you plug the 3.5mm jack straight into your player to listen to your tunes but, when your phone rings, your music will cut out so you can take the call. The BT325 will run for about 8 hours between charges and have helpfully been weather-proofed against the elements. When available, it will cost around $120.00.
