Today on the Bluetooth market so many headsets looks exclusively for men. After the release of the Motorola V3 and H500 Bluetooth headset in Pink and Light Blue colors several months ago, companies with a good vision started launching devices a little bit more colorful and feminine. We understand that women deserve more, especially about technology that’s why WingProfit just released at the CTIA the BluePearls. Battery time is up to 18 hours with a 2-hour charging time. Each headset comes complete with the compact “PowerBank” cradle that immediately charges the headset when not in the ear. They are priced at $79.95 and an additional $19.95 is charged for Color Pack accessory kit. For more information please visit http://www.BluePearls.US.

Sony Ericsson earlier this week announced a new hands-free Bluetooth-enabled car speakerphone for use with mobile handsets. The new Bluetooth Car Speakerphone HCB-100 is expected to be available in the second quarter of this year.

The HCB-100, said Sony Ericsson, attaches to the car visor via a clip and reportedly has distinguishable buttons for handling calls without losing focus on the road. The speakerphone is colored silver/black and comes with a cigarette lighter adapter, standard charger and user’s guide.

Other features of the stylish HCB-100 include up to 20 hours of talk time, 600 hours of standby time, a color id for facilitating five different handset connections inside and outside of the car, digital noise reduction technologies to help provide more easily heard calls and use of Bluetooth 1.2 standards.

Tekkon This week at MacWorld in San Francisco unveiled the myTalker, a Bluetooth device which lets users use their own music headphones to make and receive mobile phone calls while listening to a MP3 player. It is priced at $74.95 and should be available next month.

The myTalker, according to Tekkeon, connects between an iPod or MP3 player and the music headphones. The rechargeable device also pairs itself with a Bluetooth mobile phone. Calls are heard directly through the music headphones and the user can speak through a microphone built into the myTalker unit.

Other features of myTalker include buttons for controlling call functions, indicators for headset status and low-battery, the ability to charge the device through a USB port and a weight of 1.2 ounces.

“myTalker provides a seamless path to simplify the convergence of two key mobile products,” says Jerry Yang, president of Tekkeon. “With myTalker, digital music lovers get the convenience of a Bluetooth headset, without giving up their own music headphones.”

Any doubts that Motorola wasn’t serious about music and mobility were put to rest today as it announced its iRadio music service and the much anticipated ROKR E2, the successor to the lackluster ROKR E1 iTunes Phone.

The Apple / Motorola pact seems to be dead, setting the ROKR E2 as a solo project integrating Motorola’s new iRadio service (no iTunes software):

Focusing on music and mobility, the ROKR E2 takes mobile music to the next level – with no wires. Through embedded Bluetooth technology, consumers can keep the ROKR E2 in their pockets while music is wireless streamed to compatible Bluetooth-enabled stereo headphones up to 30 feet away. When a call comes in, the music pauses, allowing users to talk, then resume listening where they left off.

Motorola iRadio is initially launching with 435 commercial-free radio channels, already one of the widest selections of subscription music entertainment available. The service’s unique delivery platform enables it to bring content portability together with acquisition and discovery of music. This creates a powerful new medium for artists and labels to directly connect with fans, and for wireless service providers to deepen relationships with subscribers.

While technically CES doesn’t start until Thursday, these new announcements should put any doubts to rest.

Chinese electronics company EverE has listed a Bluetooth audio dongle for the Sony PSP. The dongle apparently runs along the bottom of the Sony PlayStation Portable, allowing PSP owners to use any of the emerging crop of Bluetooth wireless headphones now hitting the market.

The product is called the A375 Bluetooth PSP Audio Dongle, which enables the Sony PSP to transmit high fidelity digital audio streaming sound wirelessly to any compatible Bluetooth Stereo headphones. At the same time you don’t disturb the other people and enjoy yourself. It is also suitable for general audio player by using 3.5mm (1/8 inch) stereo audio extension.

No word on whether or not a data Bluetooth adapter is in the works or not, but this is definately a technology to watch.

The Belkin “TuneStage” Wireless Bluetooth unit turns your iPod into a “premier wireless remote”. It supports 3rd/4th generation iPod’s including the Mini/Photo but unfortunatley not the newest 5th generation version nor the Nano (an updated model will be released Spring 2006 that support them). Just plug the 40×38×12mm external transmitter into your iPod and its ready to go. The main transmitter, measuring 165×110×30mm, draws power directly from your iPod so it doesn’t need any external power sources. Use the 3.5mm audio or RCA Stereo outputs to connect to your home stereo system. Belkin plans to release the “TuneStage” in Japan on December 23rd at the price of $168 USD.
