Johnson Controls today announced BlueConnect, an integrated in-vehicle handsfree system that allows drivers to make/receive calls on their cell phone over a Bluetooth connection.

Supporting the Bluetooth handsfree-profile (HFP), you can conveniently pair your Bluetooth enabled cell phone with BlueConnect and enjoy handsfree communication. You don’t have to pull over to the side of the road anymore, and you don’t have to wear a Bluetooth headset that makes you look like Will Smith in Cellular.

BlueConnect is offered either as a factory-installed accessory or can be installed separately. More info is available from Johnson Controls’ BlueConnect website.
