Zspire mouse

Crafted from metal and metal alloys, the Zspire mouse comes in a stealthy shape. Its solid, durable construction and weight should let you position it exactly for precise, calculated work. It is elegant and artistic in design (if a little coffin-like), yet promises a natural, comfortable position. More importantly, it’s sure to turn heads.

The Zspire Bluetooth Mouse measures 76×114x28mm and weighs just under 165g without batteries. The mouse performs at 800dpi and is designed for everyday use. Having said that, due to the need for higher response times and resolution, it is not recommended for intense gaming requirements.

The mouse includes both metal (base and top) and plastic parts (buttons and battery cover). The plastic pieces are needed for flexibility (pressing buttons and replacing batteries) as well as allowing the wireless signal to go forward. You have a choice on the colour of both the body and the buttons. You should also note that a Bluetooth adapter is not included, so budget for this.

Through the company’s custom service you can choose from several options to get a ‘customised’ mouse that reflects your personal taste, style, and needs. These units are not in stock: you design your mouse as you prefer and the company’s ‘master artisans’ will craft it to your specifications. Your mouse will be as distinctive as you are. Your ability to return is obviously limited if any custom changes are made.

The mouse costs $119 (£68.89 inc. VAT) and can be purchased from www.zspire.com/buy. If aluminium isn’t your thing, a Special Copper Edition mouse is in the pipeline.
